Pray for Iran (USGAPN)
By Barbara Yoder, USGAPN, National Apostolic Council

The states are praying!  What Barbara Yoder has sent summarizes a key prayer focus for us now.  Our Michigan state gathering at the end of July was incredible.  Then we just had a state meeting for Wisconsin in Milwaukee with Apostles Venner and Bill Alston.  Great revelation for that state came forth.  Now I am flying on to Mississippi for a statewide gathering there.  The states are rallying!

Blessings,

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Most of us have been praying for Israel and the current Middle East Conflict.  We sent out the prophetic word that Chuck Pierce had for the war Israel and Lebanon are currently engaged in.  It is well known that ultimately Iran is in back of the entire conflict.  The purpose for engaging Israel in conflict is to get the international community's attention off of Iran and its development of nuclear weapons to an immediate massive problem.  So Iran provoked Lebanon to attack Israel by kidnapping the two soldiers.  Now everyone is focused on Israel and Lebanon.

Now Ahmadinejab is further provoking the international community, the world, and particularly Israel, the United States and Great Britain because of the stand they are taking.  The following statement will brief you on Ahmadinejab's latest declarations.  It is time to pray and lay hold of God.

As you know, the strategy of the terrorists in the UK was both revealed, intercepted on August 10 at 2 AM.  We sent you the e-mail from Chuck Pierce.  The war chants are escalating.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the government, the Prime Minister, the soldiers, the secret service and the people.  Pray for the international community that the leaders eyes will be open and they will be willing to take concerted action.  Ultimately Iran wants to overtake and rule the world.  They believe Allah is to be the world's "god" and sovereignty is to be gained by any means possible.

Note the time we are in

Aug. 22," which this year corresponds "to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to 'the farthest mosque,' usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1).

"This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind."

Wall Street Journal

In a WALL STREET JOURNAL op-ed Tuesday, Princeton's Bernard Lewis writes: "There is a radical difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments with nuclear weapons. This difference is expressed in what can only be described as the apocalyptic worldview of Iran's present rulers."

"In Islam as in Judaism and Christianity, there are certain beliefs concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time -- Gog and Magog, anti-Christ, Armageddon, and for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of the Hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces of good over evil, however these may be defined."

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "and his followers clearly believe that this time is now, and that the terminal struggle has already begun and is indeed well advanced. It may even have a date, indicated by several references by the Iranian president to giving his final answer to the US about nuclear development by Aug.

Pray that the strategy of the enemy will continue to be uncovered.  Pray for great wisdom, bold courage, and faith (for our leaders and the leaders of Israel) as well as the uncovering of occult forces and plans.  Read and declare Psalms 91.  As you awaken in the night, pray, pray, pray.

In trying times it is important that we align - or realign - our words (both spoken and written), our thoughts, and our beliefs to line up with the Word of God. When things gets tough we must guard our hearts from agreeing with anything that is contrary to what God has spoken in His Word and prophetically. This article provides some solid Biblical truths to help us align with God during trying times.
The Lord is rekindling an awakening of the Spirit of Intercession in the Body through the telling of the old, old stories of His displaying the love, mercy, grace and power of Christ throughout the ages. We have entered into a season to "recover" all that has been lost, stolen, or left behind in our families, communities and nations. It is time for a fresh fire to burn within the people of God today with a passionate desperation for the promises of the Lord to come forth in power. Read, rehearse, pray, and share the stories of old believing that our God will yet do it again in our day.
The Lord began to speak about His weaving of a tapestry in these days that will reveal the Glory of the Lord as we come together from various streams in humility to seek His face and do His will. The tapestry He is weaving is glorious. . .
