Wake Up, Rise Up & Go Forth
By: Jacquie Tyre

Awake, awake!
Put on your strength, O Zion;
Put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city!
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Shall no longer come to you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, arise;
Sit down, O Jerusalem!
Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion!
Isaiah 52:1-4

There is a sound coming forth out of heaven by the Spirit of the Lord calling out to the people of God,

"Wake up! Stir yourself from your slumber. Rise up and stand in the strength that I have given you. Shake loose from all that is holding you back. You have not realized it, but those things that have held you bound are fragile and not strong as you have supposed. Do you not know that I am here? I am near to all who will call upon My name….even before you call upon Me, I am hereReceive My Spirit anew to quicken your spirit with fresh life and empowerment, for now is the time and this is the season that I desire to send you forth to release joy as you declare and demonstrate the glorious gospel of My Kingdom."

It has been said, "we are no longer waiting on God to answer our prayers for revival or awakening, He is waiting on us." If this is true, and I personally believe that it is, then what is God waiting to see in us? These are some of the things that I believe the Lord is looking to see in us, even if in seed form of "Lord, I'm willing…."

  • To receive fresh oil of anointing and new wine of revelation, to step beyond what we have known and grown to rely upon from the past seasons (1 Cor 14:26; Rev 3:19; I John 2:20, 27);
  • To respond in willing obedience and bold demonstrations to whatever He speaks to us - to go where He says go, speak what He says speak, and do what He says do (Isaiah 1:18-20; Acts 5:29,32; Acts 4:31);
  • To embrace the divine connection between Genesis 1:26-28 dominion mandate and Matthew 28:19-20 great commission to go disciple nations;
  • To operate within our assigned spheres of influence and authority and honor others in their spheres (2 Cor 10:12-16);
  • To shift into His ordained divine order to be rightly connected in apostolic alignment, upon the foundation of apostles and prophets (Eph 2:20; 4:16; Rom 12:5; I Cor 12:25); and
  • To shift fully into functioning with apostolic DNA with a Kingdom advancing perspective (Eph 4:11-16; I Corinthians 12:28).

We are living in exciting and challenging times. These are times of unprecedented change, at least within our lifetimes. It could well be said that some of the most significant changes that have happened within several generations are converging in this season. Economies are changing. Governments are changing. Social norms are changing. Communities are changing. Systems and structures are changing. Many hopes, dreams, and aspirations are changing. Church….as we have known it, is changing.

In this season of change, we have a choice to either be swept along mindlessly - or helplessly - or we can press in to the Lord in new ways to engage in His purposes to advance His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. There is nothing that is too difficult for our God, and everything we need is available in Christ. He has a path marked out for us. I am hearing the Lord say to us,

Rise up and go forth as instruments of change by the power of My Spirit to go into all the world - go into the culture as agents of change. Go in to disciple nations and cultures to walk in My ways. Go and bring My Kingdom culture into every area of your community, even into all the nations of the world. The time is now for the knowledge of My glory to be revealed throughout all the earth through you My people. Rise up and go forth!"

Prayer Points:
  • Repent: Personally and on behalf of the corporate Body of Christ
    • For all the ways we have resisted or refused to embrace the fullness of the Holy Spirit to give us fullness of life and empowerment to live as Christ's ambassadors to advance His kingdom
    • For being independent, self-reliant, and bound by patterns of what we have known rather than walking in dependence upon the Lord, interdependence with others in the Body of Christ, and in being led by the Spirit moment by moment and day by day.
  • Pray for:
    • All believers to receive a fresh baptism and anointing of the Holy Spirit for this season
    • God to grant the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that all may know him better and that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened in order that we may know the hope to which he has called us, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength (Eph 1:16-19)
    • Willing obedience to overtake the people of God, to count the cost and then, to radically obey in faith;
    • Holy boldness in our lives through clear testimony and proclamation of the Gospel of the Kingdom with signs, wonders, and miracles following.
    • For a greater understanding, embrace, and effective function of the apostolic order Christ set for His Church - the Ekklesia;
    • Divine Alignments to be secured and strengthened so that every part of the Body of Christ functions effectively in strength to advance Christ's Kingdom;
    • For the Church to shift out of a "pastoral model & mindset" into "apostolic function" - from being focused primarily on the needs of the people to focusing on the will of the King
  • Declare the Word of God over all God's people:
    • "Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you." (Is. 60:1)
    • "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is." (Eph 5:14-17)
    • "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth." (Micah 4:13)
    • "Awake, awake! Put on your strength...Put on your beautiful garments...Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down...Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck..." (from Isaiah 52:1-4)

In trying times it is important that we align - or realign - our words (both spoken and written), our thoughts, and our beliefs to line up with the Word of God. When things gets tough we must guard our hearts from agreeing with anything that is contrary to what God has spoken in His Word and prophetically. This article provides some solid Biblical truths to help us align with God during trying times.
The Lord is rekindling an awakening of the Spirit of Intercession in the Body through the telling of the old, old stories of His displaying the love, mercy, grace and power of Christ throughout the ages. We have entered into a season to "recover" all that has been lost, stolen, or left behind in our families, communities and nations. It is time for a fresh fire to burn within the people of God today with a passionate desperation for the promises of the Lord to come forth in power. Read, rehearse, pray, and share the stories of old believing that our God will yet do it again in our day.
The Lord began to speak about His weaving of a tapestry in these days that will reveal the Glory of the Lord as we come together from various streams in humility to seek His face and do His will. The tapestry He is weaving is glorious. . .
