Calendar: : Resetting the Gates
Psalm 24:7-10 Lift up your heads, O gates, God is calling us to "reset" the gates of our lives, our region, and our nation that they may be properly positioned to be opened and lifted up for the King of Glory to come in. Gates that are not properly set are both vulnerable to enemy attack and difficult, if not nearly impossible, to open to grant entrance to the King of Glory or those whom He may send to assist and strengthen us. As in the days of Nehemiah, God is calling us to rebuild the walls and reset (rehang) the gates from location to location so that the restoration of all that has been lost, stolen, broken-down, laid aside of His purposes might be realized in our day (Nehemiah 3). We have entered a season where the Lord is granting grace, favor, strategy, and empowerment to repair what has been broken down, to recover what has been lost, and to build according to His Kingdom blueprint so that the Ekklesia might more fully function as the House of the Lord upon the Mountain of the Lord as "family and government." This is a call not to any one congregation or ministry, but to the territory and all who would see God's Kingdom purposes advanced in our day.
